Enjoy summer on the farm while creating beautiful sketchbook spreads! Come be inspired by green meadows, blossoming botanicals, and grazing goats.
Each class includes hands-on time with our friendly farm animals and professional art instruction.
Students will learn about goats, horses, chickens as well visit the gardens for inspiration. Together we will draw, paint, sketch and collage, creating dynamic sketchbook spreads. This class allows freedom for each artist to work within their favorite medium or experiment with new ones. Instruction will focus on observational drawing and composition.
Inspiration Topic by Week:
Week 1 : Horses & Meadows
Week 2 : Chickens & Eggs
Week 3 : Goats & Gardens
Students are asked to bring a sketchbook of their choosing. We suggest heavy weight paper for use with watercolor and glue.
Class will be held outdoors or in the goat barn, in the case of inclement weather. Please dress accordingly.
August Class includes 3 Thursdays : 8/7, 8/14, 8/21 5:30-7pm
